Before making a choice of a financial product or service, we suggest that you first explore what each offer and determine how it may help you achieve your goals. There are financial products and services that are simple and those which are complicated. There are those suited for individuals and those for groups. Personal information we obtain. Once you choose a product that matches your need and decide to purchase, you will have to fill in our prescribed forms and disclose therein personal information about you and, in certain circumstances, about your loved ones whom you will name as your beneficiaries. The extent of detail that needs to be disclosed would depend on the kind of financial product, amount, and your health and age. Simple products would require minimal personal data about you, while complex products would require disclosure about your health. If the product chosen is an individual product, then you must disclose your personal information only. If the product chosen is a group product, then your employer or organization with whom you are connected or affiliated will disclose your personal information and your employment or affiliation. Such disclosures are necessary for us to evaluate the risks involved in insurance.
Our prescribed application forms. The details of your disclosures are obtained in an application form prescribed by us. All the forms we use are approved by the Insurance Commission. In general, the application from consists of three parts:
- Part 1: Personal Circumstances
- Part 2: Health Circumstances
- Part 3: Declarations and authorizations.

How we process your information. All applications are processed following a cycle that starts with your submission of the said application to our Head Office Online Portal or, in certain cases, to our Sales Associate, who submits it to our Head Office. When the application is received, our Underwriters evaluate it and assess it to see whether the product you chose matches your needs; whether the risks involved are within acceptable limits. If there are items that need further clarification, we will ask for clarification from you or in certain circumstances, some medical evaluation would be required. When your application is approved, a policy contract will be issued to you. The contract contains the particulars of your insurance coverage, the contract provisions, and copies of the application you submitted to us. The particulars contain the data stored in our computer systems.
Communication of results of the processing. The next part of the cycle is the contract delivery. In our website, you may find the product descriptions and the contents of the contract accessible through the QR Code links provided in your Policy. You may reach us by email at
[email protected], just in case you have some change in personal circumstances or financial requirements or some other similar significant events. With your consent, we can assign a duly licensed agent with whom you may discuss your financial requirements.
In situations where the application is declined, we communicate the results in confidence.
Policy maintenance. To keep the policy in-force, we will be sending you some reminders when premiums are due, updates about the product you bought, your financial plan, data protection, and related information. We will not send any marketing promotion or materials outside the financial plan designed for you, UNLESS you give us your express consent.
Outsourcing of ancillary services. While the policy is in-force, there may be instances where we may engage the services of third parties, such as banks, IT security, cloud storage, etc. for the processing of benefits proceeds, securing systems, databases, etc. In such situations, we remain responsible for the safety of your personal data.
Claims. At the point of claim for maturity, you as the owner (in case of living benefit) or the beneficiary (in case of death benefit), must get in touch with us for the processing of such maturity. The list of requirements for maturity claims can be found in

Retention of data. We retain your information while your insurance is in force and up to five (5) years after your policy's termination.
Compliance. At all times, we observe good governance over our business. All applications are evaluated to determine the kind of risk that we may take. We adopt procedures to ascertain the identity of customers and, where appropriate, observe and apply customer due diligence measures to evaluate our exposure in accepting prospective life insureds or in keeping existing insureds as customers. Hence, in cases where information further than identification is needed, we may require disclosures from the prospective life insured or the insured about sources of income, business relationships, affiliations, and other information needed in deciding on the application for insurance. Therefore, we reserve the right to accept or reject an application or renewals in situations where the prospective life insured or life insured refuse to cooperate with us.
